Jennifer Chevais graduated with a Diploma in Fine Arts from the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) in 1996 after having completed a Jewellery and Metals cursus.

Months after graduation, she moved to France. While there, she rediscovered her first love, the reason she went to art school in the first place: drawing and painting.

Jennifer upgraded her Fine Art Diploma to a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and began making contact with others who shared the same interests: children's books.

She became a member of SCBWI's French chapter in 2007, where she now serves as Assistant Regional Advisor.

The publication of her first Young Adult book cover was released in May 2009 and is available on Amazon.com.

She currently divides her time between her children, her husband and her artwork in the suburbs of Paris.
