You may have found this site after googling my name.
Hello and welcome!
Yes! I’m an Associate Literary Agent at The Rights Factory who has a special appreciation for the weird, the fantastical, the dark, and the true.
I like character-driven stories where the characters are so strong they’ll either break your heart or pull it right out of your body.
I currently represent work across the literary spectrum from Picture Books to Commercial Fiction and from Speculative Fiction to Non-fiction. My deep love for Graphic Novels also abides.
My client list can be found on TRF’s website here.
If you’d like details on the types of projects I’m accepting queries for at this time, please check out my Query page here!
I’m also:
a Publishing Contract Consultant for non-agented authors who’ve received an offer of publication independently,
a French-to-English Translator,
an Editor (developmental, copyediting, etc.), and
a Book Proposal Consultant.
Contact me if you’d like to discuss your project, however, for any of the services above, please note that I won’t be able to represent you as a literary agent as well.
Have a doubt? Consider querying me first (though it could take months for me to respond, so keep that in mind). If I decline, but you still want to work together, let me know.
If you found me through my art marketing, hello and welcome!
Yes! In addition to working in publishing, I’m a professionally-trained fine artist with a degree from the Alberta University of the Arts in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
My primary focus is digital portraits (pet or people) because I’m enamoured with the idea of capturing a cherished moment in time. I also work in acrylics where I explore feminine “monsters”.
Things I can’t explain:
how I feel when I race through a manuscript and know its potential in my bones;
my joy when I see someone’s reaction to their portrait for the first time;
getting killer developmental edit ideas that will blow a book wide open.
Favourite themes in my acrylics: unicorns, mermaids, butterflies, bird wings, women,…
Intrigued?
Head to my shop, query me, or contact me to discuss a personal art, consultation, translation, or editing project.
Please note that messages in relation to a book query, i.e., in my capacity as Literary Agent, will not be addressed.
